The world has stopped moving. Today’s children may be the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents and we need to change that. We are calling all who care about health, movement and sport to stand up, become part of our community, learn and make a difference. The Jersey Sport Foundation is committed to world class education about the serious costs and consequences of not moving well, and the benefits that effective involvement in sport and activity brings to our Islands’ general health and sport performances. The physical inactivity epidemic is upon us and now is the time to do something about it.

In order to make a stance on the above, the JSF are bringing over world leading specialists to Jersey to enable all who work in health, fitness and sport have a ‘once in a lifetime’ look into world leading programmes and provide practical next day solutions to maximise the work you do. The weekend will be of particular interest to personal trainers, healthcare practitioners, school teachers, sports coaches, parents, activity and youth leaders. Our ambition is to make Jersey a world leading centre for the development of proactive health care, sport and fitness.

Our guest speakers include:

Dr Mark Tremblay; Director of Active Living and Obesity Research at the CHEO Research Institute

Dr Kate Hays; Head of Psychology at the English Institute of Sport and Performance Lead for English Boxing

Simon Brundish; UK Founder and Creator of Strength Lab: Superheroes
